A roadmap infographic cores through the bedrock of complexity and ambiguity, providing a clear and concise design that spells out every task, every step, and every goal.

Roadmaps clearly delineate responsibilities, tasks, and timelines using visual cues, making it easy for team members to understand their roles within the larger project schema.

A roadmap infographic visually represents a project’s lifecycle—or product’s journey—which is more than just a design. It’s a decision-making compass. Here’s how infographic roadmaps augment the decision-making process:

  • Visual Clarity: The visual format of a roadmap infographic makes it quicker for the brain to process information, speeding up decision-making.

Taking advantage of visual content is more important than ever. Infographics are currently at the forefront of web design and development, blending valuable information with attractive visuals. Using infographic tools effectively can elevate your website design and development process to another level.

Infographics are a visual representation of information, data, or knowledge. They distill complex concepts into easily digestible, visually appealing elements. With the rising prominence of visual content, infographic tools have become integral in web design and development.

Different tools come with different functionalities and interfaces. Here are a few highly effective infographic tools you may consider:

  • Canva: Canva is a versatile online tool that offers a range of templates, images, icons, and fonts. Its user-friendly interface is suitable for beginners.
  • Venngage: A professional design tool, Venngage provides a large variety of infographic templates and custom designs to choose from.
  • Piktochart: Piktochart offers a simple way to turn raw data into engaging infographics using templates and intuitive design tools.

Choose the tool that best suits your design needs, comfort level, and budget.

Why Are Infographic Tools Important?

Visuals help people understand information more efficiently and effectively. Infographics can break down complex information into digestible, easy-to-understand chunks, which may prove critical in promoting understanding of sophisticated services or products. Infographic tools play a pivotal role in web design and development for several reasons:

1. Enhanced User Engagement

A user’s digital journey can be a fleeting moment. Infographics serve as vital pause points that can arrest attention and engage curiosity. By creatively harnessing infographic design elements like icons, graphs, adobe aesthetics, or even movement through a drag-and-drop infographic maker, your content can transform from being just another piece of information to a visual delight that captivates and retains user interest. Infographics also make room for interactive elements, leading to even deeper user engagement.

2. Easy Absorption of Information

The charm of an infographic is in its ability to make complex data comprehensible at a glance. An effective infographic template strategically uses visual elements – colors, fonts, symbols, and spatial relationships to guide a user’s eye and simplify the understanding process.

Whether it’s a pie chart illustrating fiscal shares or an icon-based timeline depicting historical events, infographics work because they align with our brain’s preference for visuals over text, aiding in quicker and easier information absorption.

3. Boost SEO

Infographics serve as powerful leverages in SEO. When well-designed infographics become the bedrock of valuable information on your page, they enhance the possibilities of organic linking from other websites and blogs, essentially boosting your inbound SEO strategy. Further, the strategic use of data visualization in your content signals search engines about the relevancy and quality of your information, ultimately contributing to a higher ranking on the search engine results page (SERP).

4. Shareability

Brace yourself for a hard-hitting digital truth – Infographics are extremely share-worthy. In their perfect blend of simplicity and complexity, infographics become an attractive parcel of ‘portable information’ that users love to share across social media channels and niche community platforms, thereby widening your outreach effortlessly.

Their use transcends sectors and demographics, making infographics universally appealing to a broad audience base.

Infographics are versatile, influential, and here to stay.

Optimizing Infographic Tools For Website Design & Development

Infographics are a game-changer, and optimizing the use of infographic tools can significantly enhance your website design and development. Once you’ve picked an infographic tool, it’s crucial to optimize its use:

1. Understanding Your Audience and Goals

Before creating an infographic, consider your audience’s needs and content goals. Visualize their demographics, interests, and browsing habits. The best infographic is tailored to its viewers.

  1. Know your Audience: Data-rich presentations might be preferable if you’re targeting a tech-savvy crowd. For a younger audience, a brighter, more graphics-oriented approach can hook their interest.
  2. Decide the Goal: Are you sharing a huge chunk of data, explaining a complex concept, or showcasing a process? Your objectives guide the infographic’s makeup.

2. Choosing the Right Infographic Tool

Selecting the right infographic maker is where your plan starts coming alive. Different infographic tools offer different templates, design options, and edges.

  1. Canva: It’s a user-friendly infographic maker with a range of free infographic templates that you can easily customize. Its drag-and-drop feature adds convenience to your creation process.
  2. Adobe Spark: It offers many professional-looking templates with top-notch graphic design capabilities.

3. Design for Clarity

For effective infographics, clarity is key. Your data must be well organized, your icons should suit the content, and the color scheme, font, and overall visual aesthetic should align seamlessly.

  1. Data Organization: Use graphs and charts to simplify and visualize complex data.
  2. Icon Selection: Choose clear, descriptive icons that complement the text and reinforce the message.
  3. Color & Font: Use contrasting colors for clarity and readability. Choose a font that’s aesthetic and easy to read — even from a distance.

4. Making Infographics Interactive

Interactivity breeds engagement, and making your infographics interactive can take your visitors’ experience up a notch. Use drag-and-drop features to embed interactive elements, like links to your blog or website.

Not only does this keep your audience engaged, but it also extends their stay on your site – a big win in the world of web development!

5. Incorporating SEO into Your Infographics

Search engine optimization (SEO) isn’t just for text. Use SEO strategies to help your infographic stand out in search results:

  1. Alt Text: Include keywords in your infographic’s alt Text.
  2. Caption: Incorporate keywords and phrases related to your infographic content.
  3. Filename: Name your infographic file (usually PNG) with the suitable keywords.

With these optimization strategies, creating infographics isn’t just an exercise in graphic design. It’s about crafting a unique, engaging, and effective narrative that aligns with your audience’s needs and your website’s goals.

Tools And Resources For Creating Infographics

Creating visually stunning and informative infographics can seem daunting without the right tools. However, several resources can make the process considerably easier, even if you’re not a professional designer. Below are some of the top tools and resources you can leverage to create compelling infographics:

  1. Canva: Known for its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, Canva is deemed the go-to platform to create infographics. It offers plenty of infographic templates, intuitive customization options, and a library of icons and fonts, rendering it a remarkable tool in the marketplace.
  2. Adobe Creative Cloud: Adobe caters primarily to those with an inclination toward advanced graphic design. Despite presenting a learning curve, its Illustrator and Photoshop tools furnish extensive infographic design options and provide the ability to work with different plans and export in PNG format.
  3. Visme: An effective infographic maker, Visme makes it simple to visualize complex data. It offers various customizable templates and creates engaging interactive infographics with data editing features, making your data visualization journey smooth.
  4. Piktochart: Piktochart is an excellent mix of quality templates and user-friendliness. Handy customization and a seamless drag-and-drop feature make it easy for both novices and experienced designers to create an infographic.
  5. Infogram: Infogram distinguishes itself with its robust data visualization tools. Whether you’re looking to create basic graphs or detailed infographics, Infogram can aid in transforming data into readable, impactful visuals.

Ensuring Accessible Infographic Templates

Making your infographics accessible is crucial in reaching a larger audience, especially those with different accessibility needs. By focusing on accessible infographics, you will create an inclusive experience for users who may have visual, cognitive, or motor impairments.

Consider the following tips to ensure your infographics cater to these requirements:

  1. Alt Text: Providing alt text for your infographic allows screen readers to describe the visual content to blind users or those with impaired vision. For instance, alt text for a timeline infographic should describe the key dates and events in chronological order.
  2. Transcripts/Captions: If you choose to make infographics that include audio or a video infographic, transcripts or closed captions enhance accessibility for users with hearing impairments. Tools like Adobe Creative Cloud come with features that help you create these assets.
  3. Logical Layout and Easy Navigation: Infographics should be logically designed to enable easy navigation for users with cognitive disabilities. This involves ensuring a clear flow of information by using clear labels and signs that guide users through data points. Online infographic makers have drag-and-drop editors that streamline this process.
  4. Use clear, concise language: Choose simple words and phrases to convey your message. This helps accommodate users with cognitive or reading impairments and makes your infographic more universally understandable.
  5. Opt for high-contrast colors: Choose colors with high contrast to make the text and graphic elements more distinguishable for people with visual impairments and color blindness. Avoid color combinations that may cause difficulty in distinguishing specific elements or contrast.
  6. Select readable fonts: Fonts should be easily read using a sans-serif typeface. Avoid decorative fonts that may be difficult to comprehend, and ensure font sizes are large enough to accommodate users with different levels of visual acuity.
  7. Provide alternative text descriptions: Including descriptions or captions for your visual elements within the infographic can make it accessible for screen reader users. Text descriptions also offer additional context for individuals with cognitive issues, allowing them to understand the visuals better.
  8. Organize content logically: Arrange the flow of information in a logical order to make it easier to comprehend. Use clear headings and subheadings to structure the content, and consider the natural reading order for your audience, left-to-right or top-to-bottom.
  9. Make interactive elements accessible: When including interactive features in your infographic, ensure they are screen reader accessible and navigable using keyboard controls.

By implementing these accessibility tips when designing and creating your infographics, you will accommodate users with diverse needs and make your content more universally accessible, promoting an inclusive user experience and expanding your reach.

Measuring The Effectiveness Of Infographics

After your perfect infographic goes live, how do you measure its impact?

Optimizing infographic tools is a great start, but it demands thoughtful analysis to quantify your success. Here’s how to gauge your infographics’ reach and engagement, track their performance, and refine your strategy for better results.

1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

When you set out to create an infographic, define your key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how well it’s reaching your goals.

  1. Traffic: The simplest measure of your infographic’s effectiveness. Are people clicking on it and taking the time to consume the information?
  2. Engagement: How often are viewers interacting with your infographic? This could be via shares, likes, and comments.
  3. Lead Generation: If your aim was to generate leads or drive conversions, track how many originated from your infographic.

2. Analyzing Infographic Metrics and Engagement

Turn to your infographic maker or web analytic tool to gather data on the defined KPIs.

  1. Social Shares: Track shares across social media platforms. This is a good indicator of the infographic’s perceived value and its popularity.
  2. Bounce Rate: If users click on your infographic and immediately leave the page, they probably didn’t find what they were looking for. A high bounce rate might suggest the need to revise your infographic template or design.
  3. Session Duration: This is a measure of how engaging your infographic is. The more time a viewer spends on it, the more thoroughly they’re reading and interacting with your visual data.

Tips for Improving Infographic Performance

Don’t be disheartened if your metrics are not meeting your expectations. Use it as valuable feedback for refining your strategy.

  1. Focus on Visual-Text Balance: Great infographics engage viewers with a good balance of visual data (icon, graph) and text. Play around with the ratio to match your audience’s trend.
  2. Experiment with Design Elements: Modify your template by incorporating new fonts and graphics or using Canva, Adobe, or similar graphic design tools to customize your visuals.
  3. Optimize for SEO: If your infographic isn’t getting the views it deserves, consider SEO optimization.
  4. Make it Shareable: The best infographic is easy to share. Embed share options within your infographic to increase its reach and user engagement.

Viewers’ satisfaction is the most significant metric for any infographic design. Use these measurements as a map to guide you there. Adjust, experiment, visualize, and remember: What matters most is the quality of your infographic.

In conclusion, optimizing infographic tools for your website design and development can significantly improve user engagement and comprehension, all while boosting your SEO efforts. By selecting the right tool, identifying your key messages, keeping the design simple, and effectively testing your infographics, you can take your web design and development to the next level.

Why Web Design Marketing And Development Matters For Writers https://ostmosislabs.com/web-design-marketing/ https://ostmosislabs.com/web-design-marketing/#respond Fri, 13 Oct 2023 11:59:02 +0000 https://ostmosislabs.com/?p=1900 Being a successful writer today requires more than crafting engaging narratives. Capitalizing on web design, marketing, and development can enhance visibility, improve user experience, and foster meaningful connections with readers. Consequently, not only does it expand your reach, but it also pushes your career forward.

The post Why Web Design Marketing And Development Matters For Writers appeared first on Ostmosis Labs.

Writers today are not just defined by their ability to weave compelling stories. In a digital era where self-publishing is a legitimate option and sharing content online is the norm, a writer’s ability to maneuver the virtual terrain can also make or break their success. Amidst this backdrop, three fundamental and often interdependent facets of the digital space stand out: web design, marketing, and development.

A website is not just a platform for showcasing your work. It is an extension of your brand, your identity as a writer. Effective web design ensures a seamless user experience that can keep visitors’ eyes glued to your content.

Besides, it helps students build their personal brand and create an image of credibility and professionalism, allowing visitors or potential publishers to understand what you, as a writer, truly offer.

The First Impressions Count — Web Design

When it comes to your professional image, web design is not just about colors, fonts, or logos—it’s the interface of your online identity. It’s the digital storefront that welcomes potential customers.

Website design directly impacts how your audience views your brand. A clean, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing design speaks volumes about your professional stance in the digital environment. It shapes the way potential customers perceive your brand and will keep them engaged or prompt them away.

The Role of Web Design in User Experience

The user experience is determined significantly by the design of your website. Let’s look at key aspects that contribute to exceptional user experience:

  1. Content Placement: Effective content placement enhances readability and aids in leading the viewer’s eye to important information. Strategically placed content can boost your SEO, improving your ranking in search engine results.
  2. Navigation Clarity: Clear, simple navigation helps create a seamless user experience. It allows users to find the resources they seek swiftly, making their journey on your website enjoyable.
  3. Load Times: Slow load times can result in a high bounce rate. Prioritizing efficiency in design directly impacts load times, dramatically affecting the overall user experience.

Impact Of Web Design On Brand Reputation and Credibility

The design of your website can influence your brand’s reputation and credibility: an outdated and difficult-to-navigate website will detract from your brand’s reliability. Conversely, an aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly website design signals your commitment to providing quality content and services to your audience.

On the road to building a strong brand reputation, every detail matters. From font sizes to color schemes and from the ease of navigation to quick load times—each factor contributes to forming that pivotal first impression.

After all, in today’s digital landscape, first impressions certainly count!

Sight To Insights — Necessity Of Web Development

A strong online presence is crucial to the success of any marketing strategy in today’s digital landscape. With writers increasingly relying on their digital presence to share their work and engage with their target audience, understanding the importance of web development is more critical than ever.

It’s essential to have a business website that operates efficiently and without any hiccups, as this plays a vital role in retaining visitors. Slow-loading pages, broken links, or poor mobile optimization can quickly deter potential customers and diminish your business’s credibility.

Role of Interactive Features in Enhancing Engagement

Interactive features are indispensable for creating and maintaining an engaging user experience. These tools allow visitors to connect with your content in compelling ways, fostering a deeper sense of investment and increasing the likelihood that they will return for more:

  1. Comments: Offering a space for readers to comment allows for active engagement with your content and encourages dialogue between users.
  2. Contact Forms: By including contact forms on your website, you create an easily accessible channel for users to get in touch with you or your team, fostering connections with potential clients.
  3. Purchase Options: Direct access to purchase options, such as embedded e-commerce systems and online payment gateways, facilitates seamless transactions, deepening users’ trust and increasing the conversion rate.

Relationship Between Web Development and the Reach of Content

Investing in quality web development directly impacts your content’s reach. A well-designed website not only improves the user experience but also aids in strengthening your SEO efforts, translating to higher rankings on search results and, subsequently, improved visibility online. By optimizing your website for mobile devices and implementing best practices for conversion rate optimization, you’re setting your content up for success while making it easily shareable on social media platforms.

The ultimate goal is to attract new leads, drive engagement, and grow your client base in the competitive world of online marketing. Fine-tuned web development, paired with a solid digital marketing strategy, can dramatically enhance your online presence, improve user experience, and boost the reach of your content. By focusing on the essentials, including seamless operation, interactive features, and strong web development, you’re laying the groundwork for a website that attracts new customers while effectively engaging existing ones.

Remember, the key to captivating your target audience is to create an informative and aesthetically pleasing website that allows them to interact and obtain the information they need quickly and effortlessly. Invest in your website today and witness how powerful and impactful web development can be for your brand.

Leveraging sound marketing strategies can substantially enhance writers’ visibility online. Digital marketing, complementing your web design, facilitates your brand’s interaction with potential customers, making your work more discoverable.

When you stumble upon a beautifully designed website that’s highly intuitive and functional, it’s easy to gloss over the detail and effort involved in its creation. The truth is that every feature, every piece of content, and every line of code has been meticulously planned and implemented to ensure an effortless user journey.

Website design development begins with discovering and understanding the client’s business type, product or service, target audience, and objectives for the website. Once the project scope is clear, a sitemap is created, providing a clear roadmap of the website’s proposed structure. This stage may also involve creating wireframes for pivotal website pages. This planning phase is also the perfect time to choose the technology stack that will best serve the project

Here, we delve behind the screens to explore what goes into making a dynamic and engaging website.

Doing The Brief And Goal Identification

A crucial aspect of web design development is understanding the goals of a website and tailoring the experience accordingly. With this in mind, let’s explore two essential elements in defining a project’s success:

1. Clear and Measurable Goals

Identifying objectives and setting measurable targets from the outset ensures a focused and effective web development process. Whether it’s driving sales, increasing engagement, or promoting brand awareness – clarity of purpose shapes every design decision.

2. Understanding User Demographics and Actions

Knowing the target demographic and their likely behavior helps create a captivating user experience. Data-driven insights and a deep understanding of user intentions lay the foundation for a website that meets its users’ needs and expectations. This includes:

  • Creating a responsive layout and navigational framework
  • Employing appropriate font choices to enhance accessibility
  • Implementing seamless front-end and back-end systems
  • Ensuring compatibility with a variety of programming languages

Web design development combines aesthetics and user experience, empowering web designers and developers to craft tailored experiences that resonate with their audience. By establishing goals and understanding the user demographic, Ostmosis Labs ensures each website is purpose-driven and primed for success.

Wireframing And The Website Layout Design

A website wireframe is the visual representation of a website’s skeletal framework. It helps front-end developers craft a navigational system, blocks to distribute content and features and determine the placement of core elements of web design. Think of wireframes as the foundational groundwork before jumping into coding languages like HTML or CSS.

Visual Hierarchy, Aesthetic Appeal, and Functionality

With the wireframes ready, professional web designers utilize design tools like Adobe’s suite to create a responsive web design embodying visual design principles. The process involves balancing an engaging aesthetic with functionality—ensuring users find the information they need effortlessly while enjoying a pleasing design. Key considerations include:

  • Best practices for visual hierarchy
  • Ensuring compatibility across web browsers
  • Designing elements that mirror the website’s purpose

As we continually learn and adapt, we realize that the art of creating a successful website lies in the right equilibrium between design aesthetics and user functionality. After all, great web design isn’t just about how a website looks but also how it works.

Color Scheme And Typography

A web designer wears multiple hats in web design and development. They’re not merely developers fluent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They’re artists mastering the subtle blend of color and typography to create visually stunning and accessible experiences.

  1. Power of Color: Colors are not just decorative elements. They evoke emotions, influence mood, and impact user experience. Selecting the right color palette in website design is significant, resonating with the target audience while enhancing usability.
  2. The Art of Typography: Typography can make or break a design. A well-chosen font enhances readability, supplemented by effective use of HTML and CSS to ensure a clutter-free and responsive layout.
  3. Balancing Aesthetics and Accessibility: Tying color and typography with other elements like wireframes and Python or JavaScript coding shapes your site’s navigation and user interface. It’s a delicate balancing act ensuring the webpage is aesthetically pleasing and, simultaneously, easy to navigate.

To progress as a front-end or back-end developer, one must embrace the harmonious marriage of aesthetics and coding. Whether you aim to learn the basics or refine your skills, these fundamentals are pivotal for creating engaging, accessible platforms.

Graphic Design And Imagery

Weaving the visual fabric of a website is an art unto itself in web design development. The web design concept extends beyond colors, typography, or layout design. It encapsulates elements from the intriguing world of graphic design.

Quality visual content isn’t just an accessory to written text. Images, icons, infographics, and animations can:

  • Add depth to the narrative
  • Enhance information absorption
  • Increase engagement

These design elements are pivotal to creating a responsive web design. They contribute to the look and feel of a website, acting as visual storytellers, holding the potential to make complex concepts digestible.

But don’t be fooled—there’s a science behind the magic. The process of creating a website involves considering such factors as:

  • Correspondence with the website’s purpose
  • Adhering to best practices of design
  • Compatibility across web browsers

So, if you’re a budding web designer eager to learn web design, harness design tools like Adobe and intertwine coding language knowledge with visual design principles.

In doing so, you’ll create sites that viewers enjoy browsing and are a joy to develop!

Superb UX And UI

Two critical aspects dominate the realm of web design and development — User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). As a web designer, to create a website that captivates and retains users, it’s essential to deeply understand and harmonize both.

  • User Interface (UI): Think of UI as the platform where interaction happens. It’s your task to design a visually appealing and intuitive environment using layout, buttons, images, text inputs, and more, aided by HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • User Experience (UX): UX is the essence of the user’s journey on your site. It’s about how they feel, how easily they can navigate, and their overall satisfaction in the process, all perfected with responsive design and easy navigation.

These concepts imbue your site with life in front-end and back-end web development. A well-built UI makes the site aesthetically pleasing, while a thought-out UX ensures seamless navigation and functionality.

Coding The Design

Once the visual elements of web design have been perfected, it’s time for the developer to step into the limelight, transforming the static design into a dynamic, fully functioning website. Utilizing their expertise in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, web developers bring to life the sketches and mockups created by web designers.

The culmination of this process is a responsive web design. But what does that mean?

A responsive web design refers to:

  • A fluid grid layout that adapts to various screen sizes
  • Flexible media (pictures and videos) that scale in relation to their containing element
  • Media queries that apply different CSS styles to different devices

In essence, it ensures your website’s layout is user-friendly and aesthetically beautiful, no matter the device the user is on – be it a high-fidelity desktop screen or a compact mobile phone.

Testing, Review, And Launch

Each website’s web design and development journey culminates in an all-important final stage — testing, review, and launch.

Testing involves:

  • Checking every button, link, and form meticulously for functionality
  • Searching for bugs in the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code, doing necessary debugging

Review

  • Layout
  • Navigation: Is it clear and intuitive?
  • Accessibility: Can all users access the information they need regardless of ability?
  • Aesthetics: Does the website embody the design concept envisaged at the beginning?

Once the website has sailed through testing and review, it’s time to launch, an exciting moment that marks the embodiment of your hard work, creativity, and web development skills.

Onward and upward!

The Maintenance And Update Process

Congratulations! Your website has taken flight. It’s time to ensure it soars steadily through maintenance and updating. Websites, unlike architectural structures, are not ‘set and forget’. Maintaining and updating your website is crucial. Here’s why:

  • Relevance: Regularly updated content engages users and boosts your search engine rankings.
  • Functionality: Website technologies evolve rapidly. Regular updates keep your website compatible with new web browsers and design tools and ensure responsiveness, thereby enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Security: Cyber threats are a bitter reality of the digital world. Safeguard your website by regularly implementing updates and security patches.

Onward and upward, future front-end developers and web designers. The road to becoming a skilled web developer is paved with constant learning, practice, and curiosity to create.

The process of web design development is like choreographing a ballet – every move is precise and has a purpose. It’s a harmonious, meticulous, and ongoing process that requires creativity, technological prowess, and a deep understanding of the audience to create masterpieces that tell stories and generate engagement.

Today, I am going to restart posting on this blog because I feel more personal experience online can never hurt…that and I need to rant.

In Ostmosis’ most recent project, the client was using an IIS6 Windows server from Godaddy and on the economy account. From all over the world, I have heard how bad Godaddy is in general but had never actually dealt with them before the start of this project. I’m now much wiser. You can view the finished site (and my most recent nightmare) here: Health Mastery Systems.

Everything that could have gone wrong with this site did. I can’t (completely)fault Godaddy with that, but trying to get those problems resolved through their “support” was nothing short of a miracle and my client lost thousands of dollars in the process. They sent me home every day for two weeks with problem after problem after problem with the site (none of which turned out to be accurate). Each of those “problems” came coupled with wrong fix after wrong fix after wrong fix.

A short conversation I had with one of their front-line people:

Me: “The url is pureplantessentials.com. P-U-R-E-P-L-A-N-T essentials.com”
Godaddy Support: “How do you spell essentials in your url?”
Me: “just like essentials is normally spelled.”
Godaddy Support: “No, I mean I don’t know how to spell the word essentials.”
Me: Click.

This wasn’t overseas support – these are Americans I’m talking to(now that I say Americans out loud, it almost makes sense). Each time I ended up on the phone, which was probably about twice a day while I was trying to get this figured out, I was on hold for 5-20 minutes and never got a correct answer from any of them.

To add insult to injury, my client’s hosting is about twice as expensive, the cPanel is more difficult to navigate and the service is less reliable than anything else I have used. Needless to say, I will no longer work with anyone who hosts with Godaddy! Thanks for reading my rant – more to come.

If you want quality and reliable hosting for cheap and with good support, check out Bluehost.
